Christmas several holidays held in a year. It occurs on 24 and 25th December but it starts from the beginning of the month. During Christmas, people are more friendly and gentle with each other because they believe to have a happier life without sorrow. I enjoy decorating Christmas trees and walking around the streets looking at the buildings and the trees around the city such as in squares and parks, shops and offices. There is always a big tree at the city’s center, in which people gather and pray together on Christmas night.
All the city is decorated with color and lights; therefore, it is a chance for citizens to go out, take many beautiful photos and transfer to each other. We take part in several interesting activities like creating snowmen, playing in snow, making homemade candy or cake, cleaning houses. The snow is a symbol of Christmas. To me, it is a symbol of renewal and cleanliness of the upcoming event. Besides, the children enjoy receiving presents, which are put at the tree by Santa Clause. They believe he brings obedient kid joy, good health and hope for a new year.
Actually, the gifts are prepared by parents or relatives in order to encourage them to study and well behave with others. The tradition of giving presents originates from the old days and it has become one of features of the Christmas holiday. Christmas reinforces the belief of one’s soul and heals all sadness and dissatisfaction. In my opinion, it is essential to continue this holiday because of its beneficial role in the culture of one country.

From very old days, Christmas is well known all around the world for its special features. It is usually held in the last month of the year, when people prepare for the new year. I love Christmas for many reasons.
First, it maintains a cozy atmosphere and mutual care and share between people. During the holiday, people gather together to decorate houses, prepare delicious meals and spend time doing good things. People share thoughts, feelings and opinions with each other. They celebrate Christmas as a special party for everyone to join and have a wonderful time together. In my opinion, Christmas is not only a usual holiday but also tradition and culture, which reflect a human’s lifestyle.

To sum up, Christmas is one of the most meaningful holidays of the year for people to stay together and take a rest after a hard-working year.

Christmas is a celebration of Jesus Christ’s birth. Some people celebrate Christmas differently, but it is all based upon the birth of Christ. Christmas is on December 25th. Nobody really knows the exact date Jesus was born. In 350 AD, another Roman Bishop named Julius I, chose December 25th as the observance day of Christmas.
People celebrate Christmas differently from one another. For example, my family celebrates Christmas by decorating our entire house. We also exchange gifts, go to church, and cook a big dinner. Even though we do all these things, we remember the “true” meaning of Christmas – To Celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ.
